Shittiest, most overpriced, buggiest piece of software

It's a toss up between Megamud and ME, but I voted Megamud. I've only ran ME once, for about a day, but I've been running mega for quite some time. It pisses me off every day.

I voted major mud simply due to price. It's one of the most expensive games I've ever seen to buy legit. Look at all you get with it. :rolleyes:

definitely windows ME. Microsoft was basically forced to make it cuz they legally had to split IE from the OS, so they did so and ME was the result. Then they never bothered to fix any of the bizillion bugs they caused in the process...

I def vote ME. doing an ME fix sucks on a computer, going into the registy and wipin out files so you can pull up webpages is just plain ghey.

I voted ME because as a comp tech, I deal with it fucking up all the time. It burns out ethernet cards, randomly fucks up and crashes all the time. That qualifies for shittiest and buggiest and since I don't think its worth $5, over priced. As for the rest, megamud, while it does have a tendency to do weird stuff for no reason, also does a hell of a lot. If it was freeware or made by someone on their spare time, I'd even call it impressive. Majormud and WG are definitely overpriced and for what you get for that price, pretty shitty. While it's a bitch setting them up and they can be a pain in the ass, they are both not too buggy. Just my $0.02.

i voted worlgroup (before reading you saying no one did) ... WG doesn't is pretty crappy overall and does some pretty weird crap at times. it's also outdated and way over priced.



megamud - buggy? oh hell yes. but shitty? i think not. if it was shitty not 90% of mud players would use it. it can be very smart (and annoying i know) at times and is overall a very decent program.



whilst majormud is definatey overpriced, it also is not shitty. it has shitty support and shitty developers now but it is a very decent game that has lived for a very long time.



me was pretty damn shitty, and was borderline with my choice for worldgroup. in fact, the more i think about it, i think i shoulda have voted for that :)
