I got one light I took from my gf's garage that clips to a wide-pad walking cane heh, it sits directly above my plants and i pretty much don't turn it off

What kinda plants are you growin that utilize 24hr light? Most do 12 and 12.

That's probably why your first try was a failure grin. It's awesome that you are growing, but you gotta take care of them and put them on a proper cycle if you want them to be big and strong. If you feed them too much light, they won't be as good as they could be. You can buy about $5 worth of stuff at a hardware store that will turn them on and off at certain times. Just lookin out for your crop =)

heh, my first attempt failed cuz I was livin in the desert at the time...all this week this attempt lived under a rocking chair with minimal daylight from a window..but I guess I can switch to a 16/8 or 12/12 lighting schedule ;)

nod, that'd be your best bet for a good turnout. There are hundreds of online ezines and web sites dedicated to growing. You can prolly find your generation and find the best techniques for it.

Yea, I hate to see a good crop go to schwag. Even schwag can be grown pretty decent with the right conditions.

fuck it, 16/8 or 24/0 light. If you cut back on your light dramatically in the vegetative stage you could force it into the flowering stage



Your light source has to have good spectrums of light as well as be adequate
