Speed posted the way to fix your problem. What you did previously when you put the wccmud.dll on the command line would be incorrect.

Ya,i starting install worldgroup into a directory call C:\WGSERV. after that i install majormud into that directory right. And i run the command wgsrunmt from there. And i add a new module page call MAJORMUD and put the module name MajorMUD.The display module page header i put NO.And i never enter anything for the command string. After that i went to TOP and move it to my menu. And i see the Majormud there now.But when i try to load worldgroup i get that message.I tried deleting everything and reinstalling,i can get up worldgroup before i install majormud, but once i install i will get that message ,even after i move the page i will still get that message. The majormud i install is 1.11i.

You got any idea whats wrong?

"ohh,thank you

Is it for the "Command String" I put in WCCMMUD.DLL?"

get rid of this. you dont need anything in the command string box.

once you add majormud to the menutree, you are good.if all else fails, delete all the files in your wg directory that star with wcc....

then reinstall mud.

Hello,i added Majormud to the menu tree but my worldgroup cant start.Instead it open up the event log window, giving me this message C:\WGSERV\WGSERVER.EXE - LOADDLL - Unable to load module WCCMMUD.DLL!A device attached to the system is not functioning.

Even if i dont add it to the menu tree,i just have to install Majormud it will also show this message once i try to start Worldgroup. Is it i didnt install Majormud correctly?

ME is not your problem. i ran it on ME for a long time. double check and make sure you have the right version of mud. 1.11i wg3nt right? other than that, all i can tell you is to delete WG and reinstall everything fresh. make sure you have WG cracked with a 256 user code. maybe thats it.

Your problem is that you left a majormud reference in your menu tree. Remove *ALL* majormud references from your menu tree. You say you did, but you didn't, that is why you are getting that error. You don't ever have to type in the word "wccmmud.dll" when installing majormud. If you can't find the reference for some reason, uninstall WG and MUD, and do a fresh install. Get WG up and running, then unzip your MUD into a seperate directory. Run the setup file, and set the install path to your WG directory. Run WGSRUNMT, follow the directions I posted previously. Run WG. Your problem will be fixed if you do these things step by step. Most people when they are trying to set up a new board, or a new anything for that matter, without previous knowledge, like to get ahead of themselves and not do things step by step.
