Is their a way to edit mud with ljn, and have the board running at the same time. Everything I have tried bitches that wg is running?

fyi NOT good to edit a mud while the board it is up... regardless of the editor... *it can really mess shit up.. and mess it up quickly...

I can say i agree from personal experience, I used to do online editing and it really fawked things up.

I'm willing to bet that he doesn't want to edit his board while it's online, but the he just wants to edit using the same computer (with the WG directories copied to a second location) while the board is up. *i dont think that can be done either.

when WG starts it loads up it's btrieve database drivers and once they're loaded it has control. *a program like LJN or nightmare also wants to load the btrieve database drivers and it cannot since WG already has. *you could do manual edits in the second location though.
