Hey Panth. Take a look at the Differential. See if it has a limited slip rear-end.

a buddy of mine used to have an s-10 that had a 2.8 manual with a limited slip rear.

You can run a small block off that same gearing.

Yeah I limited Slip, and I can chirp all 4 tires in first gear ;)



I'm looking for some 10" rears and 8" for the front for the road, and keep my other wheels for the bush, and get some boggers for the mud. I'm not sure offhand what the gear ratio is on the rear end...



Eh Aragon; I'm gonna maker her a "stealth" rig, paint it flat black, sheilded headlights, shaded tail. Not alot of rust on the cab, but the front clip needs to be replaced, both front fenders, and both doors. I'm gonna look at what it'll cost to replace the entire cab, maybe take it to a 91. I also need a bush bar, and "highbeam killer" bush lights.



The box is off, This weekend I'll work on the deck, and get the pipe for the side pipe. I need to weld a box in for a hide-away rear winch. (if I got stuck going forward, I dont really need to go any further)

I bought the S10 with the intent on fixing her up, But after removing the box, and seeing how much rust that there is I'm leaving it only as a bush truck, and put 48hr tags on it to get to and from the mud holes. I'll beat the hell out of it over the summer, and then sell the motor & running gear. I've traced the history and talked to the original owner. The truck only left the Provincial Park to get serviced, because it wasn't ever driven on a public roadway it was always fueled with "Marked gas" which is usually higher octane, than regular. It had regular maintenance for 16 years, but the last 2 years it was owned by the guy I bought it off of, and I dont think he did even changed the oil.



I'm looking at a 1991 GMC 2500 crew cab on dedicated LPG. that is in really good shape, no rust, comes with a cap. It needs the back window replaced, and has a crack in the windshield. Another low mileage vehicle, it was only used in the summer to pull a 5th wheel trailer.
