This late 60's Chicago Coin's Speed King arcade game. Haha. It supposedly didn't work untill getting through the locks on the back to reset everything.
I'll get some more pics of the innards. it's crazy and works fine.

Sweet deal EMP, I've never been lucky enough to get something fun like that.

ghaleon who do you think is holding the camera? with my gallery you'll find that i'm not in many pictures, because i'm always the one taking the pictures. that doesn't mean i wasn't there, or in this case, wasn't doing the work.
the asian guy there is my father in law, he helped 50/50 wire up the dash, and he did 100% the marquee lamp and the power supply mounting. he also helped me transport the empty arcade cabinet from where i bought it to his house, and the completed case from his house to my new house. finally, he helped me put in the tv, which was a HUGE pita. i did everything else. and those pictures were usually either me saying "let me put down what i'm doing to take a picture", or "get in the picture so it looks like you helped" :P
i spent probably 35 hours on this project. my father-in-law maybe 6.
and btw the mame cabinet is far from complete, it still has some small issues, and needs to pretty-ing.
finally, it's 100% my money invested. so you'll excuse me for taking credit for it. cunt.

The no gurls sign was written by a great person who is no longer with us. The sign was written before i was around. It's always lit in the garage as a rememberance of this person. Key note here, it's an inside thing.
I was wondering how long it was gonna take before someone noticed that.
Anyways, Here's some more pics of the guts of this machine.

This wheel pivots and rotates as the game is played. It's shocking how smoothly everything works with this machine considering the age.
