Problem with Bards

Alright, for awhile now, Bards have been messed up on my board. I deleted them, and remade them... still messed up. I moved them to a different slot in the dats... still messed up. People can get to like, level 4, then it messes up.

crazy... i was gettin problems like that before i got the new 1.11k dll... but it wasnt with any stock classes...

Yeah thats what I dont understand... why would a stock class fuck up like this? No race, no stats... its weird.

What race were you using? Perhaps you were going either too high or too low with a stat?



I know that in a previous version, there was the mermex bug, and it upped str, int, agi. But if you took them too high, they would roll over and come back as negatives and you were screwed.

His stuff didn't roll over to the negatives. They rolled over to 0. His race got taken out, and his min/max stats were all reset to 0. I'm guessing he did them with different races as well.

Yeah it's been tested with different races, and it happened at level 4 for me. The only spell that was cast on me was the level 2 song... and it was cast on me when I tried to 3 and everything worked fine. I have a Lyricist class, which uses songs, and they work great.
