Tradewinds enters Gamma stages [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Post by iNViSiGOD »

WoW Tradewinds has now moved past the beta stages into gamma stages. I will be reporting fixes in here and I hope to see bug reports as well as you listing what you noticed has been fixed in this report, so far I have seen this:

***FIXES***

Swift Razzashi Raptor is now fixed and visible when summoned.

"World Saves" also seem almost seemless and dont lag like it used to.

Kodo Mounts also still work ok.

Zeplins are slow but they do work now.

Lazy Peon's quest seems to be fixed.

Flightpaths (Gryphons and Bats) Now seem to work fine.

Mailbox seems to work correctly now, havent tested extensively.

0 Stat points issue seem to have been resolved as well.

Actual game play seems to run smoother and server loads have decreased.

Aweful lot of elite mobs seen, please report this unusual sightings immediatly.

Instances still appear to work (Tested Shadowfang Keep).

Firstaid Trainer now works (Haven't tested First Aid skills yet).

Pets are MUCH better at following, they will go to the point you last stood at then after hitting that point walk to where you currently are.

Logging out seems to be fixed for the most part, no more abnormal hangs while waiting to log out.

Rage based attacks seem to work much better.

Pets also will attack when you click the attack icon.

You can now assign new Inn's to hearthstone back to.

Mapping works now, so you can see villages, cities and other things on the map.

ADDON PACK: Mailbox System works now.

ADDON PACK: Auction System works now

ADDONPACK: Friends List works now, so you can add friends.

ADDON PACK: Refined pet management system.

***BUGS***

Getting reports some mobs arent giving experience like they should or not at all. **FIXED**

You still need to manually sit to eat (Press X to sit then eat or drink).

Some items cause the game to crash hence crashing the server.

More to come......

I apologize for any short term loss of data. Were still tweaking the new server settings and I am trying to get things back up to speed as best as possible.

1: Rage seems to build really slow now for my warrior. I dont know if its been reset or if hes just too low of a level since I started one over to check on the exp bug.

2:To go along with the no exp bug with the monsters there seems to be some sort of point rating system now. I dont know what it means. I am trying to find some if any information on it now.

Tried switching server type in the emu.cfg file. Lets see what happens. Rage is actually at its normal level now as opposed to crackhead speed, I'll still up it a bit more.

panther in goldshire?

What about a panther in Goldshire? More Info Please...

*********

There seems to be quite a few Elites running amuck.

In pretty much any area you have a quest there is an Elite or two...

They are usually double the level of the other mobs and elite to boot.

What's up with that? If the health refresh rate wasn't so fast, I could get killed and come back to finish the job in a few tries... but as it is now, it's like no chance of beating it let alone if there are two of them.

Example: Darkshore; There are two Elites in Areth A'man, and in the Furbolg camp just off the road near the Twilight Coast. They are doubles, same name same stats.

Side note: Seems that the Quest for Areth A'man is not working correctly.

I got the two tablets but when I right-clicked them to read, nothing happens.

I will start it over and see what happens and re-report this quest.

1:I mentioned the pvp thing to invis last night in a IM. I dont know if thats really the issue but it looks like it might be.

2:cannot talk to trainers anymore. They say hi but never bring up a menu.

3: Health regen seems a little slow but I use potions anyway in combat so I could care less about health regen.

4:I do need to mention that the patch did seem to fix alot more then it broke. I was getting some really neat drops from monsters last night and also from mining minerals. Overall I like the patch as long as you bring experience back.

Try it out today and see if the exp situation is resolved, it's because its set in PvP mode and not Normal mode.
