Hi, I just want to say hello and offer my appreciation for being a member on this well organized web site. I look forward to visiting in the near future. As far as my credentials: I am a retired doctor in Calif., who practiced allergy and immunology for 30 years. I then got sick with advanced type 2 diabetes and had to retire.
Thanks again and I'll see you real soon.
M.E. Stone, M.D.

laugh... does that mean when (maybe that should be an IF) I go to med school, this forum will become too low brow for me???
And to mesmd, do you care if people just call ya doc? Like hey doc, hows it hanging.. or whats up doc? Or do you go by M.E., or maybe Stone.. or mister M.D. I used to work in a nursing home in my teenage days and got in trouble for calling Carl (a resident of the facility), just Carl.. without refering him to "Doctor." He didn't care.. because he was just plain old Carl, who I would sit and watch T.V. with on my off hours. Shrug, I just feel if I am going to know someone on a somewhat personal basis I shouldn't be calling them by a professional title... seems like a metaphoric wall. In any case... welcome to the board.... glad to have you with us. Feel free to jump in on any conversation and give your two cents worth.

yea, and i'm an ordained internet minister, who wants to get married?
Re: thank you for accepting me [Archive] - ForumsHQ
Come on, the only real value of being an internet minister is the right to hold conversations as confession in court.

Is that legit, cow, or just an urban myth? Ummm...just curious... ;)
