Flint 'at' monmouth maker of Flint's Utilities MajorMUD or FUMMUD. a majormud database viewer from a very long time ago, 1.1w days and before. i believe a guy named coealexz began working on a betrieve database version of this program to succeed it. anyways it pioneered a lot of innovative ideas into editing and viewing the majormud databases. this is back in locke cole's prime. i have no idea of his whereabouts or what he's into now, but i suspect it's more productive than what we're all doing.

Before Flint there was "Leo Bloodhunter"; he was doing an editor called MME98. Unfortunately it didn't use Btrieve/Pervasive and was just hex editing the files directly basically. And he also wanted a bunch of cash for it too, IIRC. (Something like $200 or some crazy shit). Same guy also did VIR Viewer Pro (VVP). He's still on ICQ, though I've never talked to him.



And Flint did get his viewer working with Btrieve I believe (he open sourced it as well).



Ahha, and looking at VVP.TXT, it looks like Flint's utility came slightly before VVP/MME98;



Thanks to Flint for writing a really crappy program that made

me want to write this one.

No offense, but I think I preferred Flint's utility.
