WOE (War of Emperium) [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Many people have asked what the War of Emperium is, and to answer simply: it is a war between guilds to win the rights to one of the 20 castles available for claim. Another question that has popped up, when the message on the server reads "The War of Emperium has begun!," is who is fighting and who started the war. This is a misconception, this message is not an announcement that a war has actually broken out by active members on the server, it is an annoucement that IF you have a guild you may start your war now.



WOE, abbreviation for War Of Emperium, can only be commenced during certain days/hours. It depends on the settings of the server. You can set it up to happen only one day a week or all seven days up to every hour of that day(s).



To start a guild you must 1st have an 'Emperium', an ore type item. You use this item in order to create a guild. Once you have an Emperium type /guild "the guild name you want". You can have up to 52 guild members in your guild. The more members you have the better chance you have being victorious over another guild.



Emblem. The next step would be to make a guild emblem. The emblem must be 24X24 pixels in BMP format using 256 colors. I will have more specific instructions later on where to put this file after some consultation and research.



The War

You cannot participate unless your guild has the skill "Official Guild Approval"



Certain things are disabled during WOE.

* Damage is not displayed.

* All effects are simplified.

* Guild members will have the emblem displayed on top of their characters.

* The skill 'Endure' and any item that has the same effect will not work.

* If you are no longer able to fight, you will be returned to your saved point and no experience will be lost.

* Wizards cannot use the Ice Wall skill.

* Skills that push the opponent away will not work.

* Teleport', 'Fly Wing' cannot be used. The 'Butterfly Wing' can be used.



There is a guild leader who has special skills attributed only to them.

I'm nearing lvl 200 on another server and there's been some talk of the guild I'm in doing some of this. If I get a chance to, I'll post how it went.
