i agree... course i also think it needs some revamping too... the realms been the same since it changed from mudrevo... but hey thats just my thoughts... i know alot of you out there like untryiampi.. shit i used to but i just can't bring myself to play on there anymore without some changes... maybe a reset and put in some new classes or fix the ones that are there or something...

I've only played there once, so it's not really old or boring to me, I never even hit half the new bosses/areas. I want to play, trying Lunar right now but I think it's gonna be a bit packed for my liking... would hop on untryiampi in a heartbeat with a reset.

honestly man, ever since I stopped PVPing so much when I went to telnet from dialup, I mud mainly for the people. I've always liked lunar, cause there's good people. Invis and crew are real good people. There's a lot of people there from Untryiampi that I had a good time with. I haven't mudded competitively in a loooooong time, I play the game to have fun, I couldn't care less if 100% of the realm was a kang mage because it was the new pink.

The reason I stopped mudding is because no realm has found a real good way to make PvP fun. Everyone is more worried about getting the next best limited or killing the ancient willow 4x a day. I prefer handing someone their ass every few seconds, but I am a minority in a limp wristed brand of neo-mudders who want love, not war. Hippies...

I'd PVP if it was lag free. I PVP on timing, five second rounds, one second moves, everything I do is timed. Lag prevents this from working properly, even a half second lag burst during a pvp match is fatal. That's how I learned how to pvp, I never felt like changing my style to suite the lag, so I just stopped PVPing much.

Plus the past few years I've only mudded from work, so PVP is kinda tough from a desk when people are in your ear all day.

Yeah typos are pretty deadly in PVP. I think PVP back in the day is how I started typing 150wpm accurately.
