no its not that its that people have become so damn use to non pvp boards cuz all the puds who complain about it force the sysops to make them non. but yeah a few yrs ago it would have been a big hit. did i just agree with lyki?!?!?! omg ill never bee the same again i feel sick! ;)

actually phaedra, the majority of the bosses don't require a magic weapon, and even still it's not hard to find magic weapons from the other bosses. but thanks for noticing that, i'm going to remove all magic restrictions from bosses anyway. in regard to the level 40 limit... pvp just starts getting ridiculous after that, so theres no reason. it's my opinion that pvp will be more interesting and exciting this way. you don't need to leave silvermere for any reason either, it just gives people more places to run away during pvp, thats stupid. also, plate mail IS available in shops, and its not "rare" for other armor to drop. your comments make me wonder how much time you really spent exploring my bbs? but ya, lyki's post is right on.

Actually the armour wasn't that big of a deal, not sure why i even included it...:(





Well did notice that i had a mag2 and efretti wanted a higher mag weap to hit it with.





As for exploring your board, i did just that...found all kinds of neat bosses: Michael jackson, bush etc......dropped a weap that was mag2 and silk pants...not sure which one dropped which, been awhile now. Know i found two more but for the life of me can't remembr their names and i should, died by both,...heheeheh





I actually liked the concept of your board just using a mag2 weap at level 40 was kind of hard to do and the weaps that did drop when killing a boss, atleast when i did, were also mag2.







But read where you changed that so all is good..:)

i took the bbs down this afternoon cuz, over the last week, i had an average of 2 connections daily. nobody showed up for the tourney on saturday, i've kinda given up on the idea. there doesn't seem to be enough people that really wanna pvp anymore. i might tone the bbs down some, open up the realm, and have it be more of a normal bbs, but with pvp enabled. we'll see... =\

PVP is and has always been an issue in the mud community in that most of the people who want to pvp don't pvp each other and that leaves only the players who do not want to pvp as the targets, and they simply quit because they end up dying all of the time.

i'm most likely going to install 1.1w for old times sake, not gonna edit anything with the exception of maybe the exp charts, pvp enabled but within a small range, like 4 levels
