Seems one of the reviewers said he was able to flash the BIOS on it to make it into a standard 6800 w/ 4 extra pipelines

Higher obtainable clock speeds. Like a 1.8l engine w/ turbo compared to a V8 with a blower. I have a 6800NU and if you can unlock that card its a sweet overclocker. Also you get 4 more Vertex pipelines in the 6800 as oposed to the 8 that come with the 6600
