think of it like this...
there are 4 people living in a house, Bob (invisigod), Joe (artic), Larry (raiden), and Frank (syntax). All 4 of these people love apples (edited boards). Bob decides it would be a good idea to buy a big bowl of apples and put it on the dining room table (make a list of edited boards). So, he does, and everything is fine.
Months pass. Some of the apples (edited boards on the list) are no longer shiny and new and good (the information is outdated). In fact, some of the apples are rotten and poisonous (some of the boards are down for good). Joe points out this fact to no one in particular , and says "Hey, maybe we should just throw out this bowl and buy a new one and put fresh apples in it"(me making my post saying that the list sucks).
Bob goes insane, and starts saying that Joe is always negative, and that even though we all like apples, it would just be too much work to buy new ones and get a new bowl to put them in (invisigods first post in this thread).
Frank jumps into the conversation, and says "Listen, Joe, we're constantly buying new apples to put in the bowl, but see, the problem with these new apples is that they're too ripe! No one likes over-ripe apples! We need to wait awhile to put them in the apple bowl!" (raidens post)
Joe points out that the apples that are currently in the bowl are so old and mushy that they aren't even edible. (my 3rd post in this thread).
Bob says, "Look, the only reason we haven't replaced the old apples is because no one in this house likes apples, anyway! So why should we waste our time getting new ones?" (invisigods 2nd post in this thread)
Joe says something along the lines of "Well, if no one here likes apples, why does the apple bowl exist? All it does is stink up the house and annoy people. Just throw it out."
Larry shows up, gets angry, and kicks Joe out of the house (foreshadowing? ooooOOOOooo!)

Wonderful comparison, how long did ti take you to think of that? I do have a life outside the forums and i will NOT devote what little life i have to the 100% upkeep of them.

If you are referring to where I came up with the comment about BBS's establishing a name and being up for a certain amount of time before being allowed on the BBS list, then I'll clarify.
Your reply to my PM quite some time ago about Boink being put on the BBS list was something along the lines of: Your board needs to be online and stable for a certain amount of time before we put it on there. I do believe I waited at least two months after that before Boink was put onto the list. I would post that PM, however, it has disappeared from my PM storage... which I am guessing is probably due to the fact that you can only store them for a certain amount of time?
first of all, raiden is not a moderator of these forums. second of all, both of you are taking this shit way too seriously. BBS's DO NOT ask to be put on that list. i have never been asked at least. the list isn't updated because none of us has gotten the motivation to update it. want results? make a list of the bbs's that you think should be on there now and we'll update it. woot. end of story. calm the F down.
I don't know why your responding with such negative emotions towards me, since I have never hinted at any time that I was a moderator here. All I've tryed to do in these instances is help and/or give users information and/or heed them to the fact that this place has rules, whether or not they are enforced by you. I'm not looking to turn this into an ongoing argument... but back off of that issue. I know where I stand in what authority I do/don't have. You always seem to take my posts the wrong way and become defensive, almost imposing the belief that I am trying to do your job.. which I'm not.
When you ask people to stop blowing something out of proportion, and then proceed to flame them, belittle them, or otherwise provoke them, then you are becoming a hypocrit. Set a good example for the other users by using discernment, patience, and not blowing up.

How did one sentence stating nothing more than a fact drive you to write this post?! I seriously have no idea where this is coming from. I can only recall one other post where you got the wrong idea from one of my posts.
The only reason I mentioned that you are not a moderator was because the impression i got from the comments you made seemed moderator-ish. I understand you were trying to help which is why I didn't respond to you AT ALL. In fact my response was to artic and I mentioned you not being a moderator because it seemed that in his response to you that he took everything you said as fact when really everything you said were assumptions based on obvservations.
I know you didn't write that PM to me, so it must have been invisigod. this is the first instance of me hearing someone asking to be put on the list. i would have probably just put you on the list knowing you are a reputable user of these forums. unless that was so long ago that you were still new. you need to rethink your views of me and your assumptions of my views on you. i have nothing against you at all.
