We have some kind of server os problem. Its giving a driver or services error when i rebooted the server today ... and things have been shitty ever since. Board crashes

and lockups. I dont think its a board issue i think its a server issue.





We will let you know more as we know more. Or you will see the bbs back up.

If my computer expert could figure out how to get the wireless network private then we wouldnt have spoof attacks ... but since he doesnt seem to know how to do it then i guess we will. But as of now the wireless part of network is off cuz i removed the antenae. Lag disapeared soon after i did that. We will look into hard wiring the other computer so this no longer happens.

Board is down for the time being... silverbolt is on his way to the store to get cat 5 cable so we can hard wire his computer into the router. We have found some really good hackers i guess... cuz there are two computers on our router spoofing the server mac address (didnt know that was possible). We know they are spoofing the server cuz the server isnt even plugged in not to mention not on the freaking network. So once we get a program or two we are going to take care of those hackers. :yeah:

Anyways... board should be back up tonight, i estimate about three hours or so from now. I will update if anything else goes wronge.

Are you having problems with wardrivers?

That software problem we had never really got fixed... we just bludgeoned it till it worked. Silverbolt thinks we need to update the bios. I have no idea.... but what happens is that when we bring the bbs up it seems fine... then within about 10-15 minutes it locks up ... its not the board.. its the server.... the bios is trying to write to save memory... which its not supposed to do i guess... Anyways... we have to fix the server before the board will be reliable. I might just take it to an actual computer shop and have a real professional fix it. Though it has been very stress free lately.. no one complaining etc.... Hope to get things fixed in the next week or so.

we still had someone on the network when the antenae was off ... so that tells me that it was very freaking close or they wouldnt have been able to reach us. We live in a trailer park so its one of probly two neihbors within about 50 feet of us.

we blocked their mac address's .. so we should be fine till they go buy new network cards. Which at that point if they are going to pay money for internet they should just go get service grin.
