Anonymouse user purchases new user license. [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Post by Raiden »

I wish to extend my utmost thanks and gratitude to the user that purchased a 256 line user-license for the Boink Machine in honor of my 31st birthday. They have decided to remain anonymous.

My staff thanks you, and I personally thank you for the money you put into purchasing it.

I'm just saying, if you aren't 100% legit, then why bother with a new license? It doesn't mean anything anyways if you aren't 100%.

The 74 line license was legit. As far as the new one that was purchased... I'm certain it's not, but perhaps it was... They only sent us a happy birthday note, and the information we needed to redo the license.

Epud... You don't know what the hell your talking about. He's talking about our user license, not the fucking mud. And since you spent weeks playing there, and the rest of the MMB community knows I have an edited mud, you're just trying to make a public spectacle out of something everybody already knows.

Go read your playboys.

I posted that because the user that sent us the registration information decided to remain anonymous. And since I had no idea who it was, I decided to thank them with a post.

This post is yet another display of your childish antics Epud... Especially when your bad-mouthing a forum moderator.

100 staff members? I only have 6. And they are the same ones who suspended your silly butt for being a fool.

And you know what? Yes.. occassionally have considered the possibility of paying them... especially when they have to deal day in and day out with users like you. You would be surprised at the number of muds around on the internet that do actually care and watch out for their staff in various ways.

Shit, if you want to start paying people to moderate a mud, hit me up. I wouldn't mind getting a paycheck for making sure people don't screw around. I would have no problem kicking people out or suspending people, I obviously don't give a shit what anyone thinks.

All joking aside, paying your ops is pretty crazy if you don't receive money for users to play. But if you chose to do that, I'm sure they would make a shrine for you, and maybe one day, just maybe, you'd reach sysop sainthood.
