Well, no need to beat around the bush..let's get straight to the point.
I regret to inform the people who played on Phrancheyez that the board will not be comming back up. As you are all WELL aware, I've been having severe internet problems as of late, and the board is without a doubt down more than it's up due to this fact. Not to mention, the board normally has this problem while I'm not here, and tons of people constantly die because of it.
I'd been kicking the idea around for a while because of how my internet was, but always thought it would get better. Unfortunately for my thought process, yesterday my internet was up for a whole 4 or 5 hours. This is what ultimately ended my indecision about what to do. It was too much..4, 5 hours that a board is up all day? I can't host something like that..as if it wasn't bad enough before.
I would also like to thank everyone who stuck it out on the board, and still played despite the down time. I know it was highly aggrivating, and a lot of people died constantly from it. The realm was slowly getting smaller, but a few people stayed and stuck it out. For that, I thank you a lot..thanks for having faith that things would get better. Unfortunately, they didn't, and I can't put my users through this shit anymore.
I may possibly host a board again in the future, once I'm sure I have a stable internet connection and maybe a few more distinguished edits. Again..I'm really sorry it came to this, and I'm sorry you all went through what you did.

Im sorry to hear that you've been forced to shut down due to the inadequesy of your providers. If you would like i can see if anyone on lunar would be willing to host the BBS for you. Most of my people love to MUD and might be interested in such a prospect.
If i do find someone then they will also have my full technical support for the BBS as well as your own seniority rights to the system as well. Let me know man what your imput is, ill be more than happy to help.

I hope everything works out with finding a possible host for the board -- I would put up an offer, but I am trying to focus on keeping Boink Machine from crashing right now :-)

The Phrancheyez is up and running!
You need to recreate your accounts to gain access to the system. Use your same user name and password.
We all know who is who in the game. If your IP is caught stealing someones account (ie: registering someones name that isn't yours), I will permanently ban you and all of your chars from the game. Don't be a dick.
telnet://phrancheyez.game-server.cc is currently active and pointing to the new IP address.
The game may be a little rough the first week or so, I haven't ran a board in years and I just got settled into my new place. If it goes down or whatnot, I will try to have it back up asap.

I fudged up the wccmmud.ini file and users don't get sys gotos at the moment. I will try to fix that and a couple other misc things around 11:30am eastern. I'm going out of town this evening until Sunday night, so if something happens this weekend, you're SOL :)
If anyone was wondering, I will be playing the game, my char will not have sys keys. I'm not sure what Plat's rules were on this, just clarifying.
