Shaddow realise...just because turbosentry has that many doesn't mean there are..do you know how many people play on more than one, two boards? That's how legit players work..thats really in all honestly probably more like 600 people, maybe slightly more.
And rule change or not..I'm still not comming back. TA isn't the end of the world..i didn't give anyone a reason to attack me there and it happened. I don't play games to pvp people..I play games to do just that 'play the game. When I come home script-hung every day, thats when it tells me it's not worth the time and effort I was trying to put into it.

I just gotta know Plat,it's killing me,do you play the game to play the game or do you script the game to script the game?I mean how is it if you play to play you can even fathom complaining about a script hang,since you are playing?And yes I script and play live i get my scripts killed and by the love of god i return the favor.As for you not coming back thats your choice,as for people being ran off well for every 1 that leaves 1 seems to find their way there.
I almost forgot as for the room spells in arenas,the arenas weren't put there for first come first serve or for only physical attacks.Also pertaining to you're town 3 chars getting hit you did tell him to bring it.

Ok..let me make both of you look like idiots REALLY quick:
Incarnate - a year is still more time than i've been playing, and 4 years off isnt even half of what I've been off. I'd venture to say that you're a tad older than I am as well, and the last time you played you weren't 10 years old.
Secondly, incarnate - you hit me more than once. You, to be technical, hit me 4 times on different characters. You did kill 4 characters, if you want to get technical. And all of your promos still didn't kill my Knight - like I told you they wouldn't.
PVP isn't a permanent aspect of the game either moron. Anything that's disable or enableable isn't a sure-fire 'part of the game'. You need to learn this..while you get your kicks out of killing characters half your level, other people play the game for playing the game.
And on that note, Hades. You're sounding worse yourself. When I'm at keys, I rarely get attacked. Not to mention, the people on this board try and wait until you're afk so they can hit you - like Incarnate did. He thought I was afk, thought he would get an easy kill, and he thought wrong. I script when I'm afk, like EVERYONE else on the board, so don't bring up some kindergarten shit like that you dumbass. When I'm at keys, I play the game. When I'm not, I script. For a MajorMUD player, you SURE seem to lack competence of these issues.
Also Hades - you aren't constantly attacked by people who are at keys all day long - like Incarnate. I, fortunately and seemingly unfortunately, can't be at keys all day long to protect myself. If it was a matter of retaliating, I would..but when I only have 2 promo'd characters who get attacked by 5, and by now I'd assume many more - promo characters who are always at keys, it's a bit of a different issue. As far as promoing more characters - I would, and would fight back when I did - if that was possible. But when these 'big badass' stormers come to town-2 and 1 spell kills 4 of your characters - every time you go afk - it's not exactly possible. I don't exactly like the 'hearting' feature, I had used it a few times there but at the most gained 2 or 3 levels off of it, none past level 14. The people that constantly hit me - when they DO go afk - which i still don't think he does, I think he watches his scripts because whenever ANYONE talks, he's there - they're hiding in some dark corner in the realm with a bunch of hearted monsters and by now probably about 7 or 8 promo characters. You weigh the odds..
It's not a big deal either..I'm not comming back, as you said that's my choice. I don't expect you to get mad that I'm not comming back or even care - I just stated the fact. If the realm appears to be growing then congratulations - I'm happy for you. No use in crying over 'real' spilled milk, not that fake shit Incarnate is babbling lies about.

The PvP is annoying, that's for sure. However much I don't like it, it is part of the game, there's really nothing to do about it. That being said, eventually I'll have 1 or 2 characters who can survive the ambush and hit back. Until then, well, shit, it's duck and cover, with a lot of "WAIT" statements on the scripts for when I'm afk, and a lot of screen monitors for when I'm at the keyboards.
I can say Incarnate/Inferno are keeping my on my toes, which, while it bugs me, definately adds to the overall gameplay. Shit, I've never had to work this hard to get to lvl 10 on any BBSes I've played on, and the challenge is nice. However, eventually I'll be able to survive a Domuti, and be able to hit back with something similar. Until then, hey, it's duck and cover, baby!
I will give Inferno credit, he doesn't say "Yeah, I won't waste you" and then go and kill you. He says "I'm going to kill you" and does it. Some players on here will tell you you wont be killed, and then kill you. So he plays it like he plays it, and there's no real problem with that. The best you can hope for is to not annoy him too much. I'm still laughing at myself for going after those damn Styggies and getting killed 10 times by him in a 1 hour period... Thought he'd get tired of killing me, but I guess I was wrong. If I hadn't been so pig headed I would have promoted Zimbu and Rancho_Rich by now...
So, like it or not, PVP is part of this realm. Only solution if you can't take it, find another realm to play in. Or, get new PCS, build them, and strike while the iron is hot.

PVP:
- I know a lot of people are unhappy with the current PVP system.
- I am always open to suggestions for improvement, but I will not change the settings this reset. However, any suggestions sent to me will be taken into consideration for the next reset.
Other:
- I will be taking SoC offline (nobody plays) and putting TradeWars 2002 back on for anyone who wishes to play, per request.

In all honestly its not the pvp system that needs fixed MLS.Here's my recommendation for next reset...1.no ressurection 2.no heart bug use 3.1 char per person max 4. no afk in town 1 or its arena.Penalty for violating these rules should naturally be deletion.
