As far as TA goes, I haven't played the game since the 80's, half the shit you just mentioned means fuck all to me.
When I was playing, I tried to ask questions (in game) and I got stupid responses, including being called a stupid newbie, Last time I saw a stupid newbie, he wasn't asking questions, he was give stupid answers.
So yeah I'm a poor TA player, just because of 20+ years of not playing. So I figure I can waste my time on a bullshit board, where headway is non-exsistent, or play else where.

I understand what you're sayin MLS...but promos storming t2 arena full of level 19-20 chars is flat out lame. Incarnate has this power problem, running around with his 5 promo chars causing problems with not-even-close to promo chars. I don't even want to play on a realm where someone with that attitude plays, whether the pvp rule is changed or not=/
Like I said though, wish you the best with your realm...but whenever I had a problem or a concern, you were never around for me to ask. Ask the people on your board how often I was asking for you or whether anyone had seen you in chit chatter...it was a lot. I also heard that you can flag certain players to non-pvp if they wanted? I would have loved that..I don't play TA for pvp..I don't play MajorMUD for pvp...realise, just because the game ALLOWS pvp or because YOU see pvp as being a major aspect in the game, not everyone else does. Don't feel bad though, it seems the majority of pvpers in MUD don't realise that either. PVP wasn't the basis that the game was built on..it was built on entertainment, fun..Yeah, I can go run around wasting all my money on vervain potions and script and level up in secrecy..thats NOT fun. That's NOT easy unless you have promo chars to drag you stuff. What's also NOT easy is how you have cleanup at 1 in the morning so no one in the entire WORLD has even a glimpse of a CHANCE at getting a rune unless they're awake that early. TA used to be fun when I played 7 or 8 years ago..and it was when I started out on your board. I just wish it could have stayed that way..

- Like I said, PVP TA and no-PVP TA are two different games, I can't open two games without a second BBS.
- Levelling up in secrecy is what I did when I played, the game setup that I have right now is exactly the environment I played in, except unruned promos WERE allowed, which made things even harder.
- Also, TA is not like MajorMud, it is quite possible to level quickly without scripting the arena 24/7. In fact, it's a lot quicker. Therefore, scripting is not a necessity.
- Some people made use of the Ultragram feature requesting an earlier cleanup, which I changed yesterday to 8pm PST.
- I fully understand that the current game setup may not fit your play style, and I hope you find a board with a TA game that does.
To all, the PVP rules were in my very first post advertising the board. Please don't complain to me after two months of playing that they are unfair when they were clearly documented before you even started.
Finally, I don't want to turn this thread into a flame fest. Read the initial post, thats exactly how the game is setup. The rules are on my website that is in the welcome message when you enter the game. Theres nothing hidden here. If you want to play, go for it. If not, then don't.

I also had a number of times asked if you were around, and no one had seen you, or you hadn't been online in a few days.
Our complaint a little to do with your rules, or beef is with script killers, and as long as you let the script killer rule your board, your prolly gonna end up with a board with nothing but script killers. Most mud boards frown on script killers.

Like I said many times before, my AIM is on the website, and you can ultragram the Sysop account, I check it every day.
I already gave my stance on 'script-killing'. Do not compare TA to MajorMud, where scripting is basically a must to explore the harder areas. This game is not MajorMud.

Well now that I am here to defend myself. First off, Plat, you think you can play this game game by scripting t1, t2 and t3 arenas? Are you nuts? Second, Shadow.. I like your currency, but that's about it. Scripters kill this game, not script killers.

May I suggest getting a copy of TA for yourself and just editing your character.. would be easier than scripting..
