This is great, TA is alive an well in the hearts of many!i too loved dialing up on my brand spanking new 14.4 baud modem and being able to run to the flags faster than any other kid on my block! but as far scripting goes..its gay, im gonna make me a character on that board and kill as many people that i can catch scripting!! There are also com port emulators out there that will allow you to telnet out of an older qmodem. I always used Qmodem test drive 4.5d in my dialup days. I will look for a link for it monday...

This TA realm was fun while it lasted..but the script killers run rapid here..i got sick of it, and the last day i was on 5 promos sat in t3 arena trying to kill me (but im a fuckin BEAST so they couldnt) and it just got lame..every time i go afk, 2 huge arch magus', necromancers, or arch druids (any 2 of the following) storm t2 and attack t3 arenas..its pretty stupid..=/ I was having fun, and i didnt bother anyone there..they were just being dicks to be dicks. Oh, he said I got 'smart' with him because i joked with him about how he script killed his new promos for cash..and i laughed about it JOKINGLY...so he takes 3 roomers and storms t2 killing 5 chars that werent anywhere near them, and whores the t3 arena to be a dick..not to mention, some of the 'new promos' who dont have white rune like to storm t1 arena to be dicks too...the people on the board just kill it..the pvp aspect drove myself and many more people away, as the realm used to be packed until this started happening..

Well, I'm sorry you feel that way. TA is a PVP heavy game, and always has been. The danger you run scripting the arena is that people know where to find you. It's a tradeoff.

Your argument fails to make any real sense.. Just because you have your computer playing for you, you should be immune to being killed? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I don't CARE if you script, but I'm not going to protect you while you do. I made the level restrictions for PVP quite clear.
I'm open to suggestions for improvement of course, should you have any.

Nobody can be at keys to kill you 24/7, and nobody sane is going to spend every waking hour hunting you down every second. He will level up, and use his characters to exact revenge on those that gave him grief. That is what I would suggest.
The poor player quits, and complains. He is sad that he can't level automagically in the game anymore, so he gives up.
