You know what's amazing, I don't even remember how the hell I found ForumsHQ.



I think one way to boost traffic is the obvious advertising. How about ForumsHQ logos that we can use as signatures for other forums we belong to? I belong to like 4 others that I can advertise on, I'm sure people will check it out and realize that there's something for everyone here and stick around. And word of mouth of course, I tell my friends about ForumsHQ, but they noticed the same thing, that lately it's the same 3 people posting all the time and they get turned off by that, but I tell them they're stupid and that's why I'm spreading the word.



It's like this one time, I went to three job interviews in one day, all to work at retail stores in our local mall. All three managers told me "I'm sorry, but we can't hire you because you don't have any experience." so finally I told the last dude, "Look man I've heard that three times today, how can I get experience if nobody will hire me?" And he hired me on the spot for making that point.



Well same shit here, you can't have a thriving forum with only a handful of actively involved members, although Shaddow himself is a handful.



And as far as donations go, it wasn't much, but there will be more on the way... it was Fall tuition time and that's all I could spare, and even then I gave up lunch for a day or two...

I would donate IF I had an income, but I'm on EI (employment Insurance) and I'm makin enough to pay rent & bills. Ego, I get the opposit responce from perspective employers, *you have too much experience" which is just as much bullshit as not having enough.



I told one asshole on Friday, Who cares if I might get bored, not having a job and making the bare min on EI, compared to having a job and making twice what EI pay, which would you choose. Just look at it this way, I can do the job, effectivly, and you wont lose 6 months training me, and hoping I get it right.

Do you have any degrees or anything? I know I'm through with working until I finish college... it's enough work going for a BS in Communication Disorders, I don't need some high and mighty asshole bossing me around all day and making me do his bitch-work as well.

I have a computer technical degree, I also have a BSC in Computers, the cruncher is that I'm almost 40.

Aw man Age is shit.... you're talkin to a 20 year old who heard "You're not old enough!" the first 18 years of his life.



I started studying computers, got A+ and Network+ in high school my junior year, but when I got to college I realized EVERYBODY is going into computers, and I ducked out fearing market saturation when I graduate.



But hell if WalMart can hire 80-somethings to say Hi as you walk in the door, there's no reason a man at the ripe age of late 30's can't get a job with comps.

I don't miss the porn forums, and it was my idea to put them up, it was just to much of a pain it the ass to take care of. I think over time forumshq will grow into one of the best forums on the web, but I am biased....

I kinda felt bad for the people that would go NUTS on Club X... I always wondered why they spent all their time trying to find shit from paysites, when they could spend that time trying to find the REAL thing.

Don't get me wrong, I liked clubx and I could easly find shit to make those fuckers happy...and I am not really a big porn fan. It just so easy to find free porn. I just did not like having to delete or monitor every damn thread...is it that hard to read the rules?



Any way it does not matter, clubx is gone and we dont have to worry about it.
