I kindda thought that you were kiddin about commin here. I more over was trying to educate, that Canada isn't the fun place everyone thinks it is.



We just have somewhat more freedoms that other places. And our leaders aint fanatics (grin) and they aint never been impeached for gettin a blowjob (sorry couldn't help myself), We have leaders that should be impeached for other reason, like my Priemier who was DUI in Hawaii, and the fucker is still in office.

To be honest I'd still like to move there. Living in a major city, especially in Texas where our president happens to be from... it's nerve-wrecking. I know I'm not the only person who is somewhat scared by the threat of terrorism, but I will be one of the few to admit it openly... although it's not a debilitating phobia, I still go about my daily life, and it in no way effects me, but it's always there lingering in the back of my mind. Like I said before, I think I'd gladly pay for some peace of mind... oh and one question, are all actions political and social by those in power driven by money and greed over there too?



I've also thought of living in Mexico. You take 100,000 USD and you'll be a millionaire. And don't tell me about third-world blah blah blah, whatever. I live 5 miles from Mexico. Yes it's run down. Yes it sucks ass. But let me tell you guys something you probably don't know. The poor people in Mexico steal and kill and do whatever they need to do to survive. They're constantly harassed by law enforcement who leave them alone when bribed. There is no equity whatsoever. The rich, however, are ROYALTY. Their privacy is strictly kept, even by the media, and they are all above the law. Isn't that sweet? I have family in Mexico and their house is HUMONGOUS. It's like in the dream sequence in Bedazzled where Brendan Fraser is a Columbian drug dealer... except they're not drug dealers, my dad's uncle is a chemical engineer. But because of all the civil war and shit, you gotta watch your ass. Guerrillas will waste you in a second.

Better make that $100,000 CDN, it'll be worth more than USD soon (grin) Yeah I'd love to move to Mexico too. This will be the first year in 10 that I haven't go to Mexico :wahh:

Just a random thought about moving to Canada... not really random, because I seriously considered it a couple years ago, and even went there to check it out. But what would it be like to live in Canada, and work in the US? Somewhere close to the border, where jumping back and forth would be easy.

Very easy, I know alot of people that live in BC, and work in Washington State. I have a friend that works for Microsoft in Redmond Washington, but lives in Whiterock (about 1hr drive from Redmond each way)
