Alternative to Sys Gotos & Recall...World Map Mode

Alright, so I thought I would share. Getting around huge amounts of rooms is a pain, as everyone knows. So, people can teleport instantly. But, there can be an alternative that isn't so easy and cheap.



Introducing... World Map Mode!





So, what is this new and exciting feature? Well, its basically like the World Map on any console rpg. It would be a miniturized version of the realm for quick travel. Now, that may seem just as bad a sys gotos in allowing people access to high lvl areas, etc, but with this you can still put in limitations. For example, a normal person wouldn't travel as fast as someone on horseback, so people would have to buy a "horse" or whatever you travel in this mode. Perhaps they will be traveling over mountains, so they would need a warhorse, or other beast that is superior to just any old horse. It can just go on and on....
