Web Folders with Windows 2003 [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Just thought id ask, I have pretty much checked every resource i know of for this.



Does anyone know why web folders on a windows 2003 server would not allow an upload? It returns the error "An error occured copying some or all of the selected files" Even with the desired folder having everyone group w/full control permission. A copy works fine from the lan.. all correct ports are forwarded. There is no downloading trouble from remote locations.. just uploading.

Make sure you have File Server setup under your Manage Server options in the Control Panel. I run Windows 2003 for my BBS server so that would be my best guess.

you have anon users allowed as well? i don't know if they're covered under Everyone



or are you not using anonymous (no login)?

No anonymous login, the machine is set up as a file server. using SSL for most pages.
