I mean u said I had no reason to suspect anyone was duping, you know this how?

I guess you were watching over my shoulder at the time.



You're right I wouldnt monitor unless i had a good reason.

I wasnt explicetly watching them, just monitoring

everyones input.

Also if you bother to read the thread, you will see that what I said in gos to respond was things like "yes thats right". And i discussed it in gos so everyone would know im monitorin ffs.

I dont need to explain the reason for perforimg sysop actions, I just wanted them to know I was watching at the time.

YOU do NOT trust your ACTIVE members, what few there are.



Oh BTW: You said more than yeah, that's right. You mentioned in gossip something I had typed in gang path otherwise the gang members would never have told me to open up gossip. They said you were talking about what I had typed to them.



So, justify how ever you want. You did bring to gossip what I had typed in a gangpath which had NOTHING to do with why you said you were spying. You said you were checking for dupes.



And again, not sure why you were checking for dupes since we were allow to have dupes just not have in game same time as the main.



Even I know, as computer challenged as I am, that you can check ISP's etc for dupes. Other sysops do it all the time. That's how they ban players. DOH.





And it amazes me that you still insist other sysops do this exact thing. Do you know this for a FACT or is it just your imagination working overtime to justify what you did???



You feel you are right to spy on the members. That is your perogastive but let's be honest about why you do it. It has nothing to do with players having a dupe. It is becuase you are noey and probally have nothing better to do with your time.



This will be my last post. I am beginning to feel sorry for you after reading your posts. I know people like you in real time who feel the need to be a busybody and I don't waste time on them and not going to waste anymore time on you.

Any decent op wouldn't "monitor" anyone unless they had a good reason. You had no reason to suspect anyone was playing dupes, but you went ahead and checked what they were saying in gangpaths anyway, then went so far as to gossip a reply. They weren't talking to you, they weren't talking about having dupes, you should have just left it alone. Or if you really felt the need to reply, you should have done it in a telepath, because the whole board doesn't need to know what's going on, or else the gang would have gossiped it in the first place.





Exactly. And have you noticed that he has beat around the bush as to whehter it was even our gang that was breaking the rule? What cracks me up is that one of his gang members had a dupe in the gang I was in.



What is sad is that he just doesn't get it. He says he was spying for dupes yet tduscussed a topic in gossip from a gang path and feels he was right in doing so. Sad Sad Sad person he be.

I do play elsewhere and am enjoying it. Sysops don't go around killing players and passing out their items. Places where sysops actually reply to questions. Sysops that know they can check ISP's for dupes instead of spying on the members.



I just wish Thugs BBS would come back up. :(

just FYI, so you know how things work, the monitor all sends everyones typing to the screen all at once.

This way if someones pretending to be talking to themselves, you can see if the 2 diff people are typing at the same time, or always seperately.



If you had the likes of Moo on your board, you would be sus 24/7 :D Which is who I was looking at, not you or your gang.

So you didnt actually see what I wrote in gos cause you had it off? So dont invent what I said please, and dont tell me your gang told you what I said because, well I saw what they said:D

if someone wants to, they can deceive you about a dupe, period. i don't care how intelligent and incisive you think you are, unless you're running your board like the goddamn gestapo and deleting people whenever you get a hint of something suspicious, you WILL NOT catch them. monitoring your users is one thing, and it's your prerogative -- if you can't keep yourself impartial, your users will just quit. considering that you seem to have an utter POS game anyway, and your poor taste in advertising it on other systems (not only mine, i've heard other people saying you were on theirs too), i'm surprised anyone plays there in the first place, but c'est la vie. regardless, editing is a trained monkey's job for the most part, due to syn's hard work making nightmare as user-friendly as he can. don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

You see, you keep going round and round using the excuse that you were monitoring for dupes YET never addressed that in gossips. ONLY thing addressed in gossips were my words typed in a gangpath.
