Best RP Ever

Alright, this is sort of odd of me. I've never posted in this forum, but I have a big question. Out of all the MUDs you've visited and all the RP games you've played, what was the best RP story you came across. I don't mean the story of the MUD, but of a character. It could be yourself or whatever. But I'm just curious. There are some really great RPers out there with some fabulous stories to go with their character.

An AD&D David Letterman character. Course, I'd like to see an rpg world based on a sam beckett book.

I wont name my Char (so dont ask) BUT I have been playing an on-going AD&D campaign with 6 other guys. We started playing in grade 11 (1984) about 1993 our DM started basically writing his on material, making up new monsters, and new areas, as D&D and AD&D did quite do it anymore. As for mud, well over the last few years, I have probably played them all at one time or another. As matter fact, I think I still have a char on Sogourn.
