Ozzfest please read

Post by Kain »

On this years Ozzfest the original Black Sabbath is slated to play minus the original drummer, Bill Ward. They are having Mike Bordin clashing sticks instead. There is currently an online petittion for support of Bill Ward. Please sign this petition at.......

Not one of those petitions has ever worked for anything. If they don't want to use Bill Ward, they aren't going to use Bill Ward. If you don't want to see their drummer, simply don't go.

Mike Bordin, wasn't he the drummer from Faith No More? That wouldn't be so bad. Besides, its not like Black Sabbath's drums were anything complicated, I'm sure he can do the job just fine. With Ozzy singing, its not like anyone is gonna be paying attention to the guy who's gonna be hidden behind a drum set anyway.

they are trying to pass it off as a type of black sabbath reunion. however mike bordin, who is a decent drummer, was never part of black sabbath. Sharon corned Bill Ward into a contract that he could not agree with.

To be honest, they could throw Dio in there on vocals instead of Ozzy and it would be still be a Black Sabbath "reunion". I'll admit that would SUCK, but hey, its still Sabbath. As long as Ozzy and Iommi are there...

I honestly wouldn't mind going to see Sabbath, but I wouldn't wanna pay the high price to see a bunch of other bands I could care less about. I was supposed to see em a few years ago when they first got back together, had my tickets and everything, then they cancelled. Ozzy's cancelled on us 3 or 4 times in the past 10 years, and I had tickets every time. Maybe they should get Dio to sing again, maybe they'd actually show up for once...

I saw them in 2001. Iommi is what held Sabbath together all that time. As far as Dio goes, he sucked with Sabbath, solo he wasn't bad. It's still not the 'true' Black Sabbath with a member of the original four missing, this includes Bill or Geezer. I think Geezer pretty crappy myself, however he's still part of one of the best bands to ever hit the music scene.
