I just read a good Conspiracy Theory about the whole thing. "Why was the american prisoner in an orange jumpsuit, the same color we use on iraqi prisoners? Why were 2 of the 4 'terrorists' wearing bulletproof vests, and the last one on the right wearing very clean white shoes? The plastic chair the prisoner was sitting in was the same as shown in the prison we are keeping the iraqi's, and the walls and floorboards are the same color as that same prison." Actually made me think, which made me think all over that I might be crazy..

Conspiracy theories abound--the hands of the murderers were white, and even the highest class of A-rabs' hands aren't that white. Video contrast turned up? Don't think so. It wasn't Zarqawi in the video, either. Zarqi's missing a leg and has a makeshift prosthetic, not to mention Zarqi has a tattoo thats missing in the video. The murderers were more likely Iraqi officials from the current interim government--which, lets remember, consists almost entirely of Hussein's old beaurocracy, and none too fond of us. Many have opened fire on us with weapons we gave them.



All things aside, a man was brutally murdered. In no twisted logic can that be justified, I don't care if you think the CIA stole their puppies and ran over them with a steamroller--what was done in that video was pure evil, and only dim or evil minds could justify it.



Nicholas Berg (the murdered man) was a private citizen traveling Iraq for no other reasons than he wanted to see mesopotamia for himself, and get a job as an electrical engineer. In fact, he spent a good deal of his short life as an aid worker in the poor African country of Ghana--this was a good man. What quarrel could anyone have had with him? People who can say that he is responsible for the crimes (real and imagined both) of the CIA or anyone else are the same kind of people who believe Arafat and his ilk are justified in blowing up schoolbuses.



Some people are just evil, and must be treated as such.



Edit: A very interesting fact is that the murderers mention the torture photos (shameful pictures) in Abu Ghraib, but Nick Berg's body was discovered before those pictures were released. He was murdered before the photos went public. Who were his murderers? How did they see these pictures? This is some disturbing shit.
