Looking for an easy to learn mud

Post by Stupid »

Anyone know of a good mud to play besides majormud? I need to find something to play while I am at work. I would like something that isn't too much more complicated than majormud because I don't really want to have to learn too much about it. Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks.

play doormud! it is a lot like majormud, there is hardly anything to learn if you know mmud. It would be perfect for work since you have a set number of monster fights. You can use them in your free time or save them for later if you don't have time to use them that day.

Hah, I don't do anything the whole time I am at work though, I have like 5 hours straight since I work the graveyard shift where I have nothing to do. I will try it out though, thanks.

Well, the number of fights per day is sysop configurable so you can find a place that gives lots of fights every day to pass the time.

Be sure to play at Morbid (telnet://morbidbbs.kicks-ass.org) ('o' from the games menu), then check out the doormud site (http://dmud.thebbs.org) for info on the game and to find other places where you can play that give tons of fights.

I'm getting closer to finishing my MUD, named Depths Of Despair.

I'm about 75% complete.

It's playable and everything now, but i'm just fixing things to work how i would like them to.
