But the way I am doing it currently (the same way this OP did it) was to make another account and have it sit in the bank and give free healing. But I would love to try and make a true NPC.





It's not hard at all to do -- We did it on Boink (courtesy of Gabriel). Put an npc in halls that will heal if asked, and also give information on board updates, the webpage, dupes, newbies, and other such things. Just have to be willing to work on all of the text blocks for it.

A megamud character works has advantages over an npc, because you can't interact with an npc if your dropped.

you could just have majormud cast a healing room spell.
