Just a quick, sort of "captain obvious" comment: If the choices are lose the bbs completely or just reset and start over, why would anybody complain about a reset? I mean, at least there IS a bbs, whether you have to do a bit of low-level shit-work again or not, there is something to do. So unless you do get a better solution, reset so there is at least SOMEthing. "Something is better than nothing." ~~Don't know who deserves credit for that quote...everybody uses it.

BoinkMud Update: 6/05/04

The Boink Machine will be back online Sunday Morning (5/6/04). A backup will be put in from the 26th, so players will have lost quite a bit of experience, but will not have to start over.

Taking the wife and kids to our beach house in NC for a few weeks, so Grey, MistWeaver, and Wulfgar will be operating the board.

No updates for awhile... but enjoy.

Quite true Bob -- Thanks for the post!

Thanks everyone for encouragement to put the board back up, was considering leaving it down... but it is good to see people are enjoying the game and want it back.
