The Boink 'Machine' originated about 5-7 years ago. Ran it off of a small 386 in my basement. Back in the good old days when Mudedit and such were the most powerful editing platforms :-)

No coincidence, actually wasn't even aware there was another 'boink' bbs around. I came up with the name boink because my original board many years ago had a fun aspect to it. I completely redid the mud with funny character names and the such to make it more of a comic relief board then a serious mud. Ran around 40-50 users, so it had a good user-base.

Once I was married and had kids, wife made me put the board down :-)

Keep up the good work, Raiden! Your board has grown 200% since I started playing, and that's a sign of a well-run mud as far as I'm concerned. I haven't had time to check out the edits you've done as of yet... but I'll get around to it. Catch you on the Boink Side! ;)

Raiden, you might consider taking a poll about your current mudop Mistweaver.. she might be taking her job a bit too seriously. Just my opinion. There are some words that are considered vulgar, and others that aren't - AKA you hear them on the television or the radio all the damn time. Use of obscenities to a degree should be allowed, because 99% of the players on your board are over the age of 18. Also the sys lightning command, again my opinion, should NOT be used by anyone but the immediate sysop. Some folks' judgement isn't as good as it should be concerning that command.

Hmmm I might have to check out Boink Machine. Lunar has been down most of the day. I'm bored as hell.

Why don't you make your own forum? The updates are nice and all but I dont think this section wasn't intended for daily use.. When I see your BBS on the header I'm thinking... "The Boink Machine has shut down!" or something that actually has to do with your BBS.. This is a public forum and no one gives a damn about your path of bones if they don't play there.. and if they do play there, you can tell them to go to your.. OWN forum. They're free.

Oh and since you cant suspend me from these forums.. I think your uptight rules are lame.... ass damn bitch hoe whore .. o0o0o0 words i can say on TV.
