Just recieved this via our own submit news email, it seems that Sharereactor.com has been shut down and the owner arrested.



FRAUENFELD (kapo) Due to the suspicion of breach of copyright and trademark laws the cantonal judicial Inquiry department of Thurgau has taken down an Internet-Site that served as a link platform for file sharing offerings. A process concerning these matters against the 25 year old owner from Frauenfeld is underway. The Internet-Site located in Frauenfeld was online for about 30 months and last had over 220.000 hits per day before it was taken offline by the Thurgau officials. The in search engines top rated site worked as a anchor point for links to downloads of copyright and trademark protected games and movies that were offered on the file sharing network. After a complaint from several large corporations, represented by the Swiss association against piracy, the cantonal judicial inquiry department of Thurgau initiated an investigation, seized the servers in Frauenfeld and had the site taken offline. The responsible owner, a 25 year old Swiss proved to be very cooperative in explaining matters at hand.

nod, I noticed that, and jigle.com is down too (well, up, but with a message saying it's gone). All is well though, I've recently moved to using BitTorrent-- much easier to find and download DVDR releases. Just finished getting Lord of the Rings: Return of the King 2DVDR (9 GB+) a few days ago-- very nice. :P

Ahhh, I used ti for newly released movies. I liked it alot better because I have NEVER gotten a app/game/movie from there that hasnt worked and worked good. Well except for the sims+addons, addons wouldnt install for some reason lol.
