Apathy Needs Car Opinions...

So I'm in the market to buy a car (most likely used) and this is what I'm looking at. I'm honestly having a hard time narrowing down, even with reading kbb, edmund, autotrader, etc. Anyone have any experience - 1st, 2nd, 3rd hand - with any of these cars they'd like to share? I'd appreciate any type of feedback (even as simple as "it's hot and fast").



Also, if there's another car you can think of that sort of fits this mold, and can end up below $15k used, let me know.



And for the record, I live somewhere where it doesn't go under 35 very often (yes, even lows) and is usually gorgeous weather - and right on the California coast. That's why I'm a little convertible heavy.

The new 1.8 Golf is a sweet car, fast, sporty, and the option of driving as a manual or automatic - sort of like a switch between "Race" and "Cruise" mode.. :P

I just bought myself (this last weekend) a 1990 Honda CRX for $1,500 and I'm quite happy with it. Granted, it's nowhere near the "quality" you seem to be looking for, but it's a sporty, inexpensive car. Whatever you do, stay away from the Ford Mustang GT.... friend of mine bought a new one about a month ago and it's been in the shop 85% of the time to repair factory defects. It broke down driving it off the lot... lol..

My friend was talked into accepting some "freebie" stuff; car bra, dash covers, upgrade to 6 cd-changer.. The dealership was obviously afraid that he'd take some sort of action, as he should have..

well he couldn't have taken action other than to get his money back. They threw all that shit in so that they wouldn't have to attempt to sell the car again, which they had probably previously attempted to sell... He's a dummy, but hey we all do stupid shit when it comes to vehicles.

dude, 300zx, get a 92-95 tt. Can get for 15K or under used. V6 Twin Turbo, AWS...can build them to 400-500 HP pretty easy. If you need more info, let me know.
