they say that after the return of the king comes on dvd they're going to add about 30 minutes of material and compact the trilogy into 1 10 hour long movie....



all i can say is WOW that's a long movie....

i own "the stand" (stephen king) on dvd and have watched that all the way through three or four times. that's a 6 hour a movie. long movies rule (pending they're good).

True...if the movie is good, and you are at your house ready to settle in, a nice long movie is great....I sit and watched all the Indina Jones movies the other day.

I saw lotr 1 and star wars 2 in an Israeli theater, and they have intermission. Its an Allahsend when you've been sucking on a 32 oz-ahem-soda. Anyway, for those of you who're into this, heres a an article about how Jackson sabotaged lotr is subtle ways. Some of it makes ense, others, not so much.
