IE6 opening links in Small Window? [Archive] - ForumsHQ
Its opening up new links that I click in a tiny IE box and I have to maximize them. Any idea how to fix them? Using XP home btw.

Nope, that didnt work. The first one I open from Desktop works fine, but if I goto a site that has a link that opens up a new box, then that opens up a box with the webpage in it smaller than this reply box that you write replys in.

i dont think IE ever opens "new" windows maximized. there may be a registry hack or something that you can find to do it. what you can do to try and at least set the position and size is to take one of those non-maximized windows, make it the size that would be most prefered (but not maximized) and hold control while you click the x in the upper right hand corner.

Changing Internet Explorer Default Window size
To set the default size of new Internet Explorer window (when we click on "Open in New Window):
1. Open any Internet Link in new Windows and resize this new window.
2. Hold down the Shift key and close the window.
