MajorMUD version: 1.11n

Nightmare Redux version: 1.42

How long board's been running: About 3 hours



Last thing(s) edited: Mobs 10x, Bosses 20x, Aurmovorax instagen and drops 2 plat, Paladin is Priest 3, Darkelf +50 to bottom stat and +100 top stat also added Accuracy 100, Crit 20 and Illu 200 to the Delf Stats. Basically I wanted to create a God type character to play around with. Delf Pally





What was already edited: Nothing





Specifc error message received (verbatim):

"There is a severe problem with the databases on this system.

It is not automatically resolvable.

Please ask your sysop to re-apply the latest database update."





Problem you are having and any other useful information:

I can get it to work with no modifications, board seems to work fine. After applying update. Can't get into Mud.



Here is what I'm doing.

I have all the wcc*.dat in a wcctest directory.

I have Nightmare editing those.

After I create the update file, I copy wccupda2.dat to the /wgserv dir. (not over writing the one there.)

Then running off-line recovery and starting board.

Board then finds corrupt database and attempts to fix. (I know it should do this)

After fis is completed, I attempt to access Majormud

That is when I get the error.



I've also tried this by loading the BBS and then applying update from sysop menu, get same error.



I know I'm doing something wrong, I just can't figure out what.

It seems to be working now. The only thing I did was apply the to mmud so it is not running in demo now.



But all is good now.

you DO need to overwrite your wccupda2.dat file when you copy it over to the \wgserv directory.
