uh ... yeah, i did try it. going to options --> avatar and just clicking avatar both take me to this page:

i had the same prob as ray mine took me to the same screen as he got when i clicked on avatar i had to go to options

prolly only allows you to just click avatar when you have an avatar currently assigned.

well you're wrong because it's different for me. i had an avatar before and i didn't get those options to change it. and now I don't have an avatar and i still don't. and btw, going to options, then clicking on change avatar brings you to the same page (reckless you n00b)

Ok you're getting the wrong idea.
First of all, I created this thread to have all comments related to upgrade in a single thread. It wasn't evident since I merged an already created thread to this one and my post got bumped down to #2
Second, you're comment was already discussed.
Sorry, its just ugly to me. I like the old oen with the last 10 topics on the front page ect ect. I dont have time to go into each forum each day and check to see what alls new.

p.s. the second temporary button in the upper right is a "view new posts button" which can be used to just view what's new and not go into each thread. hover over the temp buttons to see what they are.

i agree with ray on this one. i can not change my avatar either. both the avatar link and the options/avatar link take me to the same page. niether of which allows you to change your avatar. :welllll:

well you're wrong because it's different for me.
you always have to be difficult. i'm not wrong. something with the board setup isn't working for you (and some others) but the procedure i explained to change it is right (had the board been working correctly for your account).
