Playing final fantasy tactics and ff7-9 on the computer

Post by Raybdbomb »

This is how ya do it, this is whatcha do. Download a full version of connectix vgs (virtual game system) that emulate playstation games for windows 95, 98, or ME, with a pentium 2 processor. then go to www.aldostools.com and download the patch to play it on xp (if ya need it) and the patch to play it on a p4 or athlon processor (if ya need it) and walaa. I got FF9 and FF Tactics such that I can take screenshots if wanted, and edit 'em and such. it's cool.... :)

i plan on beating FF8 and FF9 this way, i've beaten FF 1-6 (yes, including that bastardous ending of 5 *sigh*) for NES and SNES and FF7 on PSX AND on PC heh. I guess you could say i'm a fan =\

And i'm eagerly awaiting FFXI coming out for the PC, as an online game, that should be fun. and FF Tactics Advance for GBA, that should also be fun.... :)

any questions, just PM me or ask me

Don't forget FFXI is also for PS2 online with the new online adapter which is also available, but under stocked (as is Sony's way of promoting their shit)

FFXI will most likely (actually, I think definately) not be sold in US on PS2. Sony doesn't think the US is going to buy enough of the online adapters for it to be worth marketing it. However, Squaresoft is making FFX-2. FFX-2 is (for the first time in Final Fantasy History) going to be based off of FFX and include many of the characters and continue the story line.

I personally am very excited since FFX had such a good story and there was definately room for it to go further after the ending. They did say they were scrapping the sphere grid and combat system and going with yet another new system. IMHO the combat system in FFX rocked with being able to switch characters in and out as you pleased. The sphere grid was cool, but I like some of the previous ways of developing your characters better.

Where did you get this information? Everywhere I look, and all the geeks I speak to, still say it's releasing here. Why would Sony's opinion on the US online adapter shortage have anything to do with Squaresoft releasing the game? It's Squares decision to do an american version, not Sony's. I guarantee it's sold in US, and I guarantee it blasts all other online RPGs out of the water on console games for a very long time.

Yeah, it's gonna be based off FFX and follow Yuna as the main character.
