He can talk shit on Edge or Sinister all he wants to as well, I guess.. in that case, fuck all you grandmotherfuckers.. And I guess he'll just be short a few users, which, as I said before, GOOD, less lag for me! so it's all good, as I said, I'm not defending his wording or actions, just think it's funny so many people jump on the bandwagon.. whatever.. no skin off my teeth..

I won't check out the board simply because Miles is ignorant. My opinion of Miles being ignorant goes far beyond this post, you don't even know. I've been around Miles for probably longer than most people here..long enough to know his tendencies.

Wow, Interesting.. My little comment got quite a response... I never said there was Anything BAD about Sinister Urge, and I never said it wasnt a Good Board.. Infact its probably one of the best boards around ~ Did I say Any of this? Nope. You guys are mistaken. Amusing Flames though... :)
Anyways - When I played at Sinister Urge... Even though DxPac666 said I only attained level 20, I noticed quite a few things were out of balance. Lets see.. I was a level 68 Lyricist..(This Folks, is considered a NEWB or a LOW LEVEL in this Realm.) I had a weapon that I nearly averaged 1000 damage a round with, and I scripted an incredibely easy area where all monsters ranged about 200-250k a piece. I scripted constantly and found absolutely no game play, Lost interest .. and Quit. Also - An Interesting "Balanced" spell that you had added was "Song of Ozzy Osbourne" ... I loved it, Stunned people for a good 20-40 rounds, and hardly got resisted like song of stunning. You call this not overpowered? Whatever you all say. I agree.
Also - You never paid attention to any of my comments, or even for that matter you were never really around when I played for Sinister Urge.. I am guessing since then you have done alot of work on The Mud, and I congratulate you.. Its doin great. Now Im certain you (Dxpac666) know nothing about Me, or My Board... Of course youd jump to a hastey conclusion to defend your board, as Would I. But contrary to (someones) previous post, I spend alot of time on my board. I put in atleast 1 update a night with minor/misc edits, either to upgrade or downgrade items... Constantly trying to find a balance. I am constantly checking my convo box to answer questions and recieve User Imput, which Ive found to be a rarity among most hex sysops now adays. Its usually "My Way, Or the Highway"..
As far as Platinum calling me Ignorant, and knowing my tendencies.. Well we all form our opinions from experience.. Im sure Platinum has been around me plenty enough to form his own opinion about me, now of course None of you other fools have formed an Opinion of me... But Im sure Platinum's Opinion is enough for you all to hate me? Oh Darn. Most of you are blind to the fact if your not "well-known" you aren't "well-accepted".. I started this "hex" mud thing a few years ago, and I've learned you can not carry much of an honest attitude around alot of people. Its more then easy to say one wrong thing, and have 5-6 people jumping down your throat because of this lovely "band-wagon" effect. Ive found myself numerous times on the short end of the stick when it comes to a cheating Sysop, or someone who is just plain Idiotic. I will get in arguements with these people (Usually very Childish.) and they refuse to recognize all factors in the situation (Or there just plain stupid.) It always leads to Me, Defending myself Alone.. (Since Im not a long time "Veteran" or well-known) Usually defending myself against 6 half-wit morons with mute points and a plethora of gradeschool comments. Its a lovely effect, and thats the reason I became a Sysop. Do you really think Sysops give a damn what most users say? Especially if there from another board.. Don't think so.

Laugh..no one thinks you're ignorant just because I do. Everyone said what they did here without me cheering them on. As a matter of fact - I don't encourage ANYONE to draw an opinion off someone based on what I say. What I say comes from my past experiences dealing with persons or situations. One person maybe have the completely opposite experience around a person that I do - I guess it's all a matter of being at the right place at the right time.
As far as your experiences with people jumping down your throat - maybe you shouldn't say the wrong thing. Maybe that's why I see you the way I do. I'm not really here to contest that, though. My advice is to make another Ad thread, and don't mention any other BBS's in it. That way, any flaming or off-topic posts will be deleted upon request, and you can have a nice clean ad. Or you can just say fuckit, keep this one, and have potential readers read through all of this..it's up to you, I don't really care either way. Just a suggestion.

First: Will comment on the last quote first: Were YOU not idiotic when you asked a new player if they wanted help and they said no thank you? What was YOUR reaction in GOS? You let all know that this new player did not want help from a sysop that was definitely twinked-twinked being high powered weapon etc. You went on and on and on about it.
Second: You said ONE account per IP yet when some threatened to turn you in, they were allowed to have an alt. You said they weren't alts yet stated to me in a telegram that you had no idea how to check IP's. LOL
Third: Cheating sysops? I would say you are the one that abuses that position the most. I've never had a sysop *tell* me where to get exp and when I asked how you knew where I was you told me you could *see* where I was. Now why were you even on my account to check up on me? Also, unless this has changed: Why, when you are twinked, do you have yourself in first place on the topten? Yeah, you've said because you have to in order to do edits etc. BULLCRAP! You call other sysops cheaters: Are we lashing out at others cause YOU are the cheating sysop?
Lastly: Your board is made up mainly of troublemakers. Ones that go around to different boards and complain, are abusive, and have no common mamners for others. YOU allowed these guys to treat the few females on the board terribly while you were at the keys!!!! I KNOW, I was one of those females. The vulgarity that was used in GOS regarding females and when I said something the reply was: Quit if you don't like it and all you did was keep quiet and didn't even bother to reply to my tellie. YES, you were at the keys cause you were typing in GOS.
To me a sysop LISTENS and RESPECTS all its' members. YOU are NOT that kind of sysop. Your board may continue going ONLY because most of your members are NOT wanted on other boards.

I'm still in awe of him saying "I'm shooting for balance". Judging by his edits on just weapons on that site (when it was up), that's the most egregious lie I've ever heard. Dxpac has put in more time on his realm than most people have put in playing mud. He's put in countless hours helping people like you Miles set up boards, troubleshooting your errors in NMR, and what not. It wasn't some Freudian slip, you meant what you said as an insult. You can't go back and say, "oh, I didn't mean it as one" because that's another lie. Help the community or get out, don't ever badmouth veteran boards that will outlast yours by years, not just months.

then.... don't play there? I'm never at keys anyhow, so I don't see the shit that goes on, and I can't comment on it. Miles has been nothing but courteous to me, and everyone I've seen him talk to, but again, I'm never at keys. He's not the top player on the top10, hasn't been for a few weeks now. I've not noticed any cheating, and as far as him being twinked, he doesn't even play to *play* so what's the fucking big deal? It's not like he's going out and killing all the bosses, that's DeathCow's job.. :P
As a person who plays there, at least check it out before you form an opinion of it from this thread. There's alot of bullshit being thrown around, and I think it's entirely inappropriate of everyone involved.
