More MegaMud Problems [Archive] - ForumsHQ

Lately I open 2 chars and log them into the board I'm on, and then try to log my 3rd char in and mega crashes my entire system to the point of doing a hard boot.



And other times I'll make changes in the system, or macros, paths shìt like that and mega crashes, again forcing me to do a hard boot.

are you trying to run 2+ megamuds from different directories or are you just opening the same executable 3 times?

Just opening the same Exe 3x, from the same directory.

I had a simular problem until I added a -v to the exe on my desktop.

does it crash when you connect with the third account or right when you open it? does it crash if you only open one of your mud accounts and then that one?

Yeah..is it a certain megamud .ini, or will it crash on the 3rd no matter the order you open it in? Try to open the last one first and see what happens..it could just be a bad .ini file, for some reason MegaMUD likes to fuck with the computer more than any other program I've ever used, aside from WG..

It seems to be working fine today, I have 6 accounts on 2 different muds, and it hasn't crashed at all. So fucked if I know.
