Hey all,
I've been looking through the forums and noticed there were at least a few mentions of the .. issues (specifically, BTRIEVE UPDATE ERROR 22 on WCCUSER2.DAT) .. when upgrading from 1.11g to 1.11j (or similar), and that most just seemed to end up resetting.
I was wondering whether anyone actually did find this elusive NTfix.zip , and did it work?

did it do a database conversion when u installed 1.11j?
might want to go from 1.11g to 1.11h - then into your 1.11j's and up....
there's a database conversion in 1.11h.

Nah, it doesn't do a database conversion (despite 1.11m's readme saying that if upgrading from 1.11g or lower that one needs to upgrade to 1.11j first.. bah).
When starting the BBS it says corruption detected and tries to fix, then promptly dies. After starting the BBS again, it tries to run a recovery and dies in the same place.

sounds like metros release notes are wrong...
the database conversions take place in 1.11h install i believe...
after the conversion, u should be able to go right up from 1.11h to 1.11m...

i believe AA is right, you should go to H first. but, is this an editted BBS? if so, your "corruption detected" message is most likely caused by something else. check out this (http://mmb.forumshq.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5010) thread.

i believe AA is right, you should go to H first. but, is this an editted BBS? if so, your "corruption detected" message is most likely caused by something else.
I thought it might be that since I fiddled with it a little. But then I tried removing all the wcc* files, and installing 1.11g fresh.
Still the same problem.
