a win32 self standing mud?

Re: a win32 self standing mud?
You do have a point, but most people don't buy a specific amount of bandwidth just to run a board. Some might, but at least in this community it is those that have the connections to run. Those few don't run out and upgrade, they run them according to their bandwidth. :)

i definatley know all about this. i can invision a crazy map editor for mud, but the time that it would take to code it would be nuts. maybe we could work on it together. it probably wouldn't be too complicated to make it both for majormud and your mud. the functionality of the editor would be pretty much the same, just the end result would be different. and since you're doing it in vb, that makes it a perfect match.

It would be almost the same, its just the saving/loading the data that would be different.
We would have to make a generic engine that we can feed values, since my MUD has most of the same room things as MajorMUD, it shouldn't be too hard.
Right now, i'm just doing 1 small part a night (or at least attempt to), so hopefully in a month (snicker) it will be near complete.
