Creating Ganghouses

To Create A New Ganghouse:



Recently there was a post here on MMB about making new ganghouses. I wanted to check thru some of this and see if this was after all possible. Nothing to it.



Step 1:



A. create all the gang related items you will need.

1) Parchment deed for your house (you can make these just like the rest of the other deeds, just make sure to change the gang house number in the required fields. You will also have to make a new spell here for the castsp ability.)

*The castsp you create will link to a textblock, which you must also create. and it should look like this

Broken down, the message is that of you reading the deed. the giveitems are your emblem, front key, and ornate key for vault.



2) Emblem for your house (same as above, make sure you change the ganghouse number.)

3) Keys for your house front and vault(s) (if applicable)



B. create the area using NMR to map out where you want it. Make your descriptions etc.

*when making your house, you have to make a new textblock for the Cmd Text and it should look

something like this:



summon guard:checkitem ####:price ### 318:summon ####|make emblem:checkitem ####:giveitem ####:message 1889



Broken down, the checkitem will check for your deed item number. price will be in copper for summoning each guard. Summon will be your guardians number. Make emblem will check for the deed number as well, and the giveitem will be your emblem number



by looking at some of the other houses, you should be able to copy how they have it set up, with room type, and monster type etc...



C. create guardians

* make sure in the abilities field, you have the 183 ability, BadAttk. and the corresponding number should match your emblem number.



I think that was all there was to it.

Compile your update, and load up and wait for it to complete the database. You should now have a new ganghouse. I made mine as the Turquoise house, and after a few cleanups, and misc. restarts, it all seems to be functioning properly.
