Im about to purchase a matrix modchip for my xbox. I was just wondering, I know the matrix is only 256k bios or whatever, but what the hell does that mean? Will the 256k run all the games that I get after I put this in?

Yes, as long as you have the proper bios and a 120 gig hard drive.

So whats the difference in the 256k bios that it can use, and the chamelion or whatever addon that gives you 512k/1m bios?

you can flash the 512k or 1mb with multiple bioss, you only really need one which can handle anything you want to do eg evoxd.6 or x2 4976.02, these can come in varying colours and also come with or without eject fix, which means you can eject the dvd and not have to reset your xbox, also has in game reset but some never games will not work with IGR turned on.



the 120gb hd is only if you want to copy your games to hd. Most programs (not games) can be copied onto the original 8gb or 10gb hard drive supplied with the xbox.
