The time of midnight is 00:00 hours on the later day, not 2400 hours on the last day, therefore your birthday would be on the latter day of the two.

11:59pm
12:00am{MIDNIGHT} next day!
Switching from pm to am constitutes a day passing.

Still an interesting question.

Not really. If it were feasible that your birthday were on both days, then that would mean that at the stroke of midnight every single night it would be both today and yesterday.

Allow me to re-phrase, It poses intersting theories then.

Aye, it's a neat concept.

What they need to do next is get rid of the goddamn time shifts (or farmers time). Time should be one time not set back or forward depending upon the season. I find that mildly annoying. Being that the majority of farming is run by HUGE companies such as Dole and Green Giant im sure they could hack not having the time changes.

They should just rework how we tell time anyway...Right now, as we have it, it's based on a presumption made millenia ago, and has been made to fit things as we have discovered new truths about it.
We split the day into 24 hours, based on the sun going around the earth (as it was previously thought) then they added days and then weeks and months...its been changed to fit the current truths, and makes no real sense....Whats with this leap year thing? it's because a day doesn't actually measure to 24 hours precisely. Its more like 24.4 or something, i forget exactly. So every 4 years, we have an extra day, just to keep it in sync....then later they fixed it by every time a leap year ends on a certain year, it doesn't skip (400 year or soemthing..i don't remember that either heh)
Anyway...everything else is based on 10..why not rework it and go on something similar. split the minute into 10s, split hours into 10s...seconds are already split into 10s (which is unusual, of course). Right now we go from 12 months to 52 weeks to 365 days..a day is 24 hours, 60 mins to an hour, 60 seconds to a min and then 100 millisecs to a sec....umm...ok ppl..can we try to make some sense?
Anyway...the pope has the power to change this evidently...by a certain date within the next 10 years he can either choose to keep the current time/clock system, or change it (although, why the pope, of all people, has this power, i don't know...maybe its because the church really runs the world..but thats another topic altogether)

Yeah, right. Change the way time is told. Lol. That will *N E V E R* happen. There is no real need for it. I don't have a problem with the way time is told. Just because it doesn't make sense doesn't mean they should change it. Our language doesn't make sense, I don't see them changing that. How many trillions of dollars of watches and clocks will be made obsolete if we rework the clock system? It'l never happen. There is no reason to fix something that isn't broken. The economy would probably frickin collapse because all the watch and clock companies would go out of business from having to start over from scratch. Armageddon and anarchy would ensue. The world would end. Well, that's a little bit of an exhaggeration, but either way, it'l never happen.
