Re: Ship Problem [Archive] - ForumsHQ
If you look in your log file (right hand side, third from top) you can look through the days, and find out who it was that destroyed your ship.
When you log out, your ship is "hanging" in space. Fair game for anyone. If your *average* tech level (found by clicking on your ship name) is 8 or under, you can stay in Sector 0 and be safe.
If it is above 8, but under say, 16, your best bet is to defend a planet VERY well, and land your ship on the planet when you log out. That will aid planet defense, also. (It is possible to attack and beat a planet, only to be blown away by the owner's ship parked there.)
If the planet is a corp planet, any member of your alliance can put thier ship on the planet also. So, if you have an alliance member who is better defended, and doesn't mind (Hey, free defense for him/her) you might be better off putting ship on THIER planet !
Also, If you are under say tech lvl 15 ship, you might want to buy a Emergency Warp Device. Purpose = Someone attacks your ship, it automatically triggers the Warp Device, and throws you out of that sector. Ends the attack, even if you are not logged at the time.

Someones gonna have to show me how to play this game, ppl say its like TW but I personally dont htink so
Re: Ship Problem [Archive] - ForumsHQ
The game is fun to start, but after a couple days it completely loses it's fun factor. It's basically TW, without 98% of the features that make TW fun.

English, please.
BNT Sucks. Ask -anyone- who has played TW extensively without helpers, who has also played BNT for a month or so. Fun factor goes to shit after a while if you imagine what you COULD be doing in TW.

Re: Ship Problem [Archive] - ForumsHQ
TW has everything BNT has. And then some. Then some more. Add in a shitload more, and a few more cool things, and you have TW.

trade wars is old, bnt rules, give me the site url for TW and i will see if u r right, i couldn't be arsed to play it before as it looked shit.
Re: Ship Problem [Archive] - ForumsHQ
TW is a MBBS game. Not a web based game. It's entirely in text (which BNT is too, it's just not point and click). All you gotta do is find a board with TW installed.
