You need to realize people who DO have time to be at the keys more deserve to be in first place, not some lazy fat guy who sleeps 18 hours a day and knows how to use the Options.. settings in Mega'Ruined'Mud. Id rather script, But id Rather script 1 character, and when I come to the keys, go on Boss runs with OTHER PEOPLE, not just myself, Thats so Boring. If you want a realm that allows no dupes, Why dont you have someone set up a realm that allows unlimited dupes, and the only rule is YOU CAN NEVER COME TO KEYS! Wow that would be fucking fun. Why dont you make a screensaver of Megamud scripting Tasloi's and just let it run 365 days a year, that would be the ULTIMATE MUDDING EXPERIENCE! FOR THE BEST MUDDERS ONLY.

no dupes are a kewl novelty for realms to have, but with the majority of people time is a luxury. To say that people who script know nothing about mud is absolutely absurd. Platinum knows a hell of a lot more about mud than Miles does, at least from what I've seen. #1 in a realm is the person who knows how to effectively script, knows what bosses they can kill, among other things.



MajorMud was invented for what reason? Are you that incoherently stupid? Mud was invented to MAKE MONEY. Nothing more, nothing less. Don't dilute that with your "vision" of what mud is supposed to be. Sure, it'd be nice if people were at keys more. It's highly unlikely to happen though. On Matrix Shaft and I were in the top 6 w/o really scripting, so there goes your theory on #1 being script monsters. I held the #1 spot w/ about a 1/10th of the scripting. Just because I got lucky, played low chart char's, and made the most out of the time I was online.

People who are at keys more deserve what they get, simple as that. If you get first place, then you get first place. If you get better items, you get better items.



You think all I do is run around scripting, but you ask on ANY BBS I've played on. I'm the first in line to go on boss runs, I'm the one who most of the time comes up with the idea.



You can sit here and argue all you like about how dumb I am about the game and how newbie-ish I am because I like to run dupes. Oh well..if it makes you feel better.



The fact is, I have first place when I play because I EARN it. If I don't deserve first place, then I don't have it. I'm not first everywhere I play..hell, look on Morbid. I started 2 months late and I'm in 5th place in a realm that always has 25-35 people on.



And...guess what..this might shock you..MORBID IS 1 CHAR ONLY! OMG!!!



Man..argue til you're blue in the face, it won't do you any good. If it goes to 1 char, Shaft will lose more than he has. I don't think Shaft likes running 1 char only either, but hey..I'm not Shaft, I don't know.



Notice that my chars on Matrix were DECKED out? No conjures, no sysop placed items. I went and killed the bosses to get what I got..I went on boss runs on that BBS almost every day, I don't know what you're talking about.



Shrug..you're wasting my time..I don't really care what you have to say..all I care about is whether or not the BBS is comming back up.



If Abyssymls BBS comes up before Matrix does, then I won't be playing on Matrix anyway...then you can bitch about 1 char limit if you want.

If shaft goes 1 char, he goes 1 char. If not, then he doesn't. Theres really nothing else to it.

No dupes is good for wait.. no that was back when we didnt have telnet, and everyone was local and at keys around the same times..It's rare today to have everyone able to play at the same times..

Nod..some people prefer 1 char limited realms - I don't..Miles seems to be pissed that I dislike 1 char limited realms. Shrug.



BBS's can handle more, MegaMUD was created so we could run more (if it wasn't, you wouldn't be able to open multiple progs)..etc...shrug, like I said..if Miles is on some big 1 char limited BBS only trip, he can go to the several that are up. Matrix simply isn't one of them.
