Through all of this, ive noticed people saying lets see her post DEFENDING herself. What I think we need to see is HER side of the story. Maybe theres other reasons why shes feeling this way.

Either way, I think we can say the forum supports ya both! :D

Like Brunt said, she'll just blame him. Don't see how she can, but hey, chick logic is always messed up.

First off, try to work it out. Try to compromise, yes if you work and she dont, then she should do majority of the house work.

I work and raise 2 kids myself. No in house wife anymore, shes gone. If you cant work things out then by all means take her to court, get custody of the child, period. There are ways to do this. First of document all the things she does or doesn't do, have witnesses. Get temporary custody based on whatever(you have job she doesnt, thats a key factor) Is she on workmans comp or disablity?

I am a key witness in a child custody case EXACTLY like what you have decribed here. I have witnessed the woman being lazy, doing drugs, not cleaning, neglecting the child, you name it she is an unfit mother and I am one of the star witness's that will be testifing feb 4th on his behalf. BUT first, try to work it out, dont yell, dont hollar, speak politly with her, show her that you are working and doing things and so should she. I'm not saying she is worthless like my friends x is, but she might be. Like someone said any relationship is a 50/50 compromise.

Get out of your parents house, she feels she has a free ride and doesnt have to do anything. Do your parents see this, do they speak with you or her about this? Perhaps they can help you.

The sex part can come from anywhere, she isnt special, she isnt all there is. You would be amazed at how many women love single dads that have custody.

In closing try to work it out, talk it out nicely. If all else fails and the relationship is and cant work out try to get your parent or some other sitter while you work. Go get an exparta(sp) and force her out of the house. Once you have done this file for custody, you will have the child, you are the father listed on the birth certificate(right?). You can do this and it is the law. Once she is out maybe she will realize what she needs to do to fix this, if not screw her. Based sololy on the fact she is lazy, worthless, drug addict(if she is or not i dont know,my friends x is), if she neglects your child, many many things can win the case for you.

Just because you are the father doesnt mean you wont get custody or you cant do it by yourself. I am raising 2 children by myself.

Try to work it out, and remember dont yell.

Untill we see her post, we cant make assumptions of what she is going to post.

About her breaking the relationship up, well you took a risk posting here. We all might be trying to support you both but there are some things that shouldnt be told to people who arent real life friends. An example is something like Yamamma telling us her husband couldnt get it up on the night of the wedding.

No, im not joking here, im being serious! Would her husband want strangers to know this?

As you know better than us, shes pissed and nothing is going to change that except for some time apart OR some kissing ass to make up for it but the ball is in your couty now man, no matter what we say, it wont change a thing.

Sorry you broke up man but sometimes its for the best especially if your partner doesnt pull his/her weight. Living together before marriage will either break or make a relationship. My GF lives with me full-time. I pay alot of the bills but she pulls her weight and contributes when she can (has a job, goes to college, more bills then me from the past) both of us are getting our shit together and plan to move near Philadelphia this coming December when shes done college and will have a degree in Elem. Education and I will have taken all the microsoft tests for my MCSE and will have completed my year and a half doing tech support for a local ISP as a resume builder.

One thing to say.. COMMUNICATION, COMMUNICATION, COMMUNICATION! Without it NO relationships will ever work.

If this break between you and her isactually permanent. Id suggest trying to get rights of the kid. With her having no income and not willing to do shit the courts will be in your favor. If you get stuck paying child support your ass is still in the same boat as it is now just with no roof over your head and noone to sleep next too. So youll really lose out and end of paying more out of your pocket then you are now.

Having kids when your young is bad because its the most volitile part of your life. Your finishing school and trying to decide what the fuck you wanna do for the rest of your life. Thats scary shit. If anyone says it isnt is full of it. The decisions you make now affect you until the day you die.

Thats about it from me, I know im probably rambling and not sayin much but shit happens. Good luck to you with whatever you decide and I hope it makes you happy. If you arent happy it isnt worth it.

Zan.

Hey Brunt man, my offers still stand, if ya need a place ;)

But, also...It tends to go towards the bread winner in a custody hearing, however, the two of you aren't married, so I don't know exactly how the law goes on that. I think she might end up wtih her, because you work too much (haha), you just wouldn't be around enough according to what a judge might deem appropriate.

Plus she has the family support behind her (another plus to her). It sucks that you guys split, you guys were a great couple.

Sorry, I don't have much more to say :(

Oh yeah, Ray..I don't hate ya...just don't talk to ya ;)

If theyre not married its usually the mother who gets the child.

Married it tends to be different items like, whos working, if someone cheated, where a person is living (parents) etc etc etc

alot of different factors

Brunt, i'm sorry to hear the news, don't really know what to say, to the nakid eye it basicly looked alright up till reciently, sure it has it's bumps, but what doesn't? I'm glad that your so focused on your child, and no matter what happens you will raise her to have a good life. Unsure of what to say, so i'll leave it at that, and as stated before, if you need anything from me, just ask buddy. (I believe i speak for the group on that) Best of Luck to yas, and don't be too down. :D

Ray, i don't know who to like or hate yet, so your ok :D

Actually the court date im suppose to appear in the two parties arent married, he didnt even have his name on the birth certificate at first(does now). I think(so does his lawyer) he will get custody, he has payed support(get her to sign receipts or use checks) gone to mediation, and everything exactly the way he's suppose to. She even has refused court ordered temporay visitation, so she's making it very easy for him to get custody. It doesn't matter period if they are married, but it does matter if his name is on the birth certificate. I still hope you can work this out as I hate seeing families broken up. The broken household has caused many of problems in this country today. It's not like it was when our parents or even their parents were married.
